Money for Nothing

Rep. Richard Hanna will be riding along with Barack Obama tomorrow when he takes Air Force One to Upstate New York to "make remarks on the importance of growing the economy and making America more competitive by investing in jobs, innovation and clean energy," according to the White House.

Maybe Hanna can use the opportunity to point out how well this worked in Massachusetts where Evergreen left for China after swallowing up $58 million in taxpayer subsidies.  Instead of trying to pick winners with taxpayer money, our government should be getting out of the way and letting the marketplace work.

The White House schedule indicates that Obama is flying from Washington to give remarks in Schenectady for just a few minutes, and will be flying directly back.  We could get him a Go To Meeting web conferencing subscription and save a bunch of money.
